New Experience with the ACR100 SIMFlash upgraded version - HID Compliance and 1GB Flash Memory

Combining a smart card reader and mass storage into one device, the ACR100 SIMFlash has been well-recognized worldwide in different applications after its release in 2006. And because it supports cards compliant with the GSM specification 11.11 (for plug-in SIM-sized cards), the ACR100 SIMFlash is widely used for GSM applications.

You can use this USB composite device not only to organize your phone book entries and SMS messages, but also to communicate via VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). Simply store Internet telephony software in the flash memory, and then activate it by inserting your GSM card into the card slot.

The ACR100 reader is automatically switched to CCID (USB Chip/Smart Card Interface Devices specification) mode via a customized “soft switch?mechanism to ensure that it can work like a simple CCID-compliant (requiring no need for a device-specific driver) smart card reader in standard PC/SC (specification for interoperability between personal computer and smart cards)-based applications.



1GB Flash memory ?Bigger storage, more applications

More than just a SIM-sized smart card reader, the PC-linked ACR100 SIMFlash serves as a mass storage device as well with its built-in flash memory upgraded to 1GB (Larger memory size is upon customer request).
