Appointment of Mr. Scott Booth
Advanced Card Systems Ltd. proudly welcomes Mr. Scott G. Booth on board this past October as the company's Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Booth is responsible
for the development and enhancement of existing and new business opportunities worldwide with a focus on North America
and Western Europe. Mr. Booth joined the Group from SDLOGIC Technologies Inc., a North American-based global smart card
consultation and hardware design firm of which he was the President and CEO for over 4 years.
Mr. Booth brings to Advanced Card Systems Ltd. over a decade of engineering and business management experience within the
smart card, computer, and wireless industries, which facilitates his unique ability to understand every facet of a project
from concept and design to product certification, distribution and marketing. Mr. Booth has been a FCC licensed amateur radio
operator since 1991 and has served as a Board member for numerous non-profit organizations throughout North America.
In 2004, Mr. Booth established the North American Smart Card Industry Consortium and enjoys traveling internationally to support
the technology.

ACM120S-SM Contactless Small Module
The ACR120 Small Module (ACM120S-SM) is a compact, easy-to-install, and versatile contactless module.
ACM120S-SM not only retains the full functionalities of ACR120 contactless reader/writer, but also includes
value-added features such as LED, buzzer, and relay. It was developed on the 13.56MHz contactless smart card (RFID)
technology, supporting Mifare (Classic & DESFire) and ISO-14443 type A and type B cards. Its proximity operating distance
is up to 7 cm, depending on the type of contactless tag in use.
Its small size enables it to be readily fit into any standard, single-gang electrical switchbox. This eliminates the
hassle to drill any wall holes to house this contactless module or re-construct any building circuitry. This makes
the installation extremely easy, quick, and much simplified.
Small yet powerful, ACM120S-SM is ideal for a broad range of applications, especially physical access control and time and attendance recording. Simply wave the contactless card at the ACM120S-SM, and the LED/buzzer on the module can notify you the successful read/write data transaction, which triggers the relay to grant you the access - all completed within a blink of the eyes.
