At CTST 2003, ACS will be presenting the new generation of smart card readers which will meet the highest requirements by customers such as ACR80 smart card terminal (multiple card slots and inbuilt cryptographic functionalities) , ACR38 USB 2.0 smart card reader, ACR90 PCMCIA reader, and AET60 BioCardKey (integrated fingerprint scanner with reader for full size smart card).

Some customers expressed interest in seeing samples of the balance readers of ACS. However, the balance readers alone without the corresponding cards do not show the functions. Thus, ACS prepared a new sample pack containing 2 balance readers (6-digit and 10-digit, developed by ACS, the 'ABR" series of readers) together with some sample cards.

ABR balance reader can be used for checking the balance in your electronic purse card (e.g. Visa Cash, Mondex, Gemplus cash card, Proton card, and Hong Kong "epark" card for parking meters), prepaid phone cards (e.g. Eurochip 4436), etc. You can also view the latest transactions on your card and use the balance reader to show user information such as name and telephone number. Adding a balance reader in your smart card project increases the attractiveness and effectiveness of your project.

The balance reader is also available for custom branding for promotion purposes. OEM & ODM enquiries are welcome. Colors can be easily defined, and your own logo or design can be printed. We can also make other adaptations according to your requirements. Our balance readers can also be easily customized to satisfy customer requirements (cards supported, display content, color, casing, buttons, etc.)
